The Montréal Alouettes are a professional Canadian football team based in Montréal, Quebec. The current team is the third edition of the franchise, having folded and been revived multiple times. They play in East Division of the CFL.

Montréal were particularly strong in the 1970s, winning three Grey Cups. Since being reformed in 1996 they put together a playoff streak of 18 years, the longest active in the league at the time.
